Keeping kosher on Celebrity Cruises

Continuing in my series of posts focusing on kosher food by cruise line, this time I am focusing on Celebrity Cruises. The representative I spoke with was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The variety of products they offer were extensive, and included breakfast as well.

Meals offered:
All meals come double wrapped and frozen. In addition to the below offerings, Celebrity will allow for special ordering of kosher meats delivered raw which can be double wrapped and cooked in the regular oven if this is something you are comfortable with. There package meals are so extensive; I do not really see a need for this.

Breakfast:

Cheese omelet with home fries
Pancakes
Cheese blintzes with hash browns
Vegetarian omelet with home fries
Eggbeater omelet with vegetarian patty

Meat:

Veal patty with carrot kugel
Stuffed cabbage with toasted egg, barley and green peas
Hot dogs
Beef bourguignon with noodles and broccoli kugel
Honey glazed chicken with ratatouille and cous cous
Brisket with potatoes and mixed vegetables
Roasted chicken with noodle kugel, carrot tzimmes, pineapple and prunes 
Sesame chicken with lo mein noodles
Meatballs and farfel
Pepper steak and fried rice
Stuffed cabbage and egg barley
Chicken tenders with French Fries

Dairy:

Cheese pizza
Cream of broccoli soup

Pareve:

Chicken (consommé) soup with matzo ball
Lentil soup
Split pea soup
Mushroom barley soup
Salmon with dill sauce, rice pilaf and green beans 
Mushroom crepe
Mousaka
Gefilte fish

Desserts:

Carrot cake
Pareve cheesecake

Notice needed for Kosher meals: Alaska/Hawaii/Caribbean needs 45 days. Europe/Australia 90 days

How are the warmed: No information available

Special food for Shabbat: Offer Barron Herzog kosher wine, which is included with beverage package. No special challah provided but there is other kosher bread on board.

Prayer services: During holidays, a rabbi runs non-denominational services.
